Day 5:👌

no trees, more vegetation like bushes, first feel of mountainering, encounter with khumbu glacier. Lots of helicopter flying over our heads, scary route. weather needs to be good for this route.
a pleasant surprize, i would say. The view yesterday was not so forgiving as it was windy. But this day we woke up, and as we sipped some tea we say the view of amadablam from our place. it was a bit windy but the view was very beautiful.

Route: Dingboche to Thokla (Dughla)

Difficulty: Level 4:

Altitude gain: Dingboche 4410m to Thukla 4830m: 420m

Tips:

Travel cost: Rs 1000 for porter, Stay: Rs 600, Food: daal bhat Rs 900+ Mushroom soup Rs 450, warm water: Rs 700 for 2 liters.

Leaving Dingboche

Day 6: 💪

went for acclamatization to thokla pass 4830m hike of 210m up, semitery no burried bodies but memorial, windy weather, steep climb.

Route: Thukla to Gorakhshep

Difficulty: Level 5: the route is diffcult because od lot of stones and the trail is actually not a man built path but a trail that everyone walks in. no contruction work.

Altitude gain: Thukla (Dughla) 4620m to Gorakhshep 5140m: 520m

Things to expect:
Tips:

Tip 15: dont miss out the Kala pathar, i think it would be worth waiting for, so i f the weather is not good, wait for a day or 2.

Travel cost: Rs 1000 for porter, Stay: Rs 1000, Food: daal bhat Rs 1000+ Garlic soup Rs 450, warm water: Rs 1000 for 2 liters.

difficult to walk, problem with breathing, met austrian team, did anti gene test. cannot see everest from there, not just a camp but a village, more than 400 camps.

Route: Gorakhshep to EBC and down to Thokla.

Difficulty: for ascend - Level 5: due 10 stepsto high altitude a single step feels l0 steps

for descend - Level 5: as we had to cover lot of grounds.

Altitude gain: Gorakhshep to EBC 5364m: 224m. Altitude lost: EBC to Thukla: 534m

Things to expect:
Travel cost: Rs 1000 for porter, Stay: Rs 1000, Food: daal bhat Rs 1000+ Garlic soup Rs 450, warm water: Rs 1000 for 2 liters.

Tips:

Tip 16: get a good pair of sunglasses. sunblind is a real thing. if you dont wear a sunglasses and view the scenario, you are blinded by the sund above and its refelction from the snow below. so sunglasses is a must.

Route: Thukla to Pheriche (4240m) (not Dinboche to Deboche) to Tengboche to namche

Difficulty: Level 6: lot of grounds covered. we had to cover lot of grounds because of the news of corona spread in ebc and lukla.

Altitude lost: 1180m
